P-99 – Low pressure number six burners

P-99 is designed to prepare the student to take the Fire Dept Exam for certificate of fitness for either the P-99 or the P-16 for low pressure number 6 oil burners.

This class is six hours long, in two nights (three hours per night)

The class not only prepares you for the exam but it give the student a good understanding of the number six boiler operation, minor maintenance and its safety controls.

This class is not a heating or boiler class. The BST series of classes are design for that purpose.

Classes are usually held on Friday nights at 310 East 46 Street Manhattan.

You can sign up for membership on the first night of class. A deposit of $40 is required to reserve your seat, First come first served and a limit of 10 people per class.

S-12 – Sprinkler Systems

S-12 class is designed to prepare the student to take the Fire Dept Exam for certificate of fitness for either S-12 or S-11 “city Wide Sprinklers.

This class is 12 hours long over four nights.

This class not only prepares you to take the Fire Dept Exam but also teaches the student a good understanding of the systems and equipment in a fire suppression system. This class is designed for the new 2008 Fire Codes of NYC as well as the NFPA 25 Standard.

Classes are usually held on Monday nights at 20 West 44th street Manhattan.

You can sign up for membership on the first night of class. A deposit of $40 is required to reserve your seat, First come first served and a limit of 18 people per class.

S-13-Standpipe Systems

S-12 class is designed to prepare the student to take the Fire Dept Exam for certificate of fitness for either S-13 or 14 “city Wide Standpipes.

This class is 9 hours long over three nights.

This class not only prepares you to take the Fire Dept Exam but also teaches the student a good understanding of the systems and equipment in a fire suppression system. This class is designed for the new 2008 Fire Codes of NYC as well as the NFPA 25 Standard.

Classes are usually held on Monday nights at 20 West 44th street Manhattan.

S-00.0 – Standpipe and Sprinkler System Review Class

S-00 class is designed to refresh students in sprinkler and standpipe systems with the new codes and updates in the New Fire Codes and the NFPA standards.

Students much have current Certificate of Fitness in any of the standpipe and or sprinkler systems.

This class was meant for those with experience but need a refresher course prior to taking the exam.

Please note that Inspections, Test and Maintenance portion of the exam is not included in this class. Taking this class alone does not guarantee passing of the exam.

This is a six hour class only and is supposed to be a refresher course. If you have no clue about these systems then you should take S-12 and or S-13 class.

Time and place to be announced. Need at least 8 people for this class.

Cost is $80.00 per person.
